We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Artificial Turf Installer to join our landscaping team. This role involves installing high-quality synthetic turf for residential and commercial projects, ensuring precise craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Prepare installation sites by clearing debris, excavating, and leveling surfaces to ensure proper turf placement
- Measure and cut synthetic turf accurately to fit designated areas using hand tools and power tools
- Install sub-base materials such as gravel or sand to create a stable foundation for turf installation
- Secure turf using appropriate fastening methods, including stakes, adhesives, or seam tape
- Integrate irrigation systems and landscape features as needed to ensure seamless integration with existing landscape elements
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on installed turf, including brushing and cleaning to maintain appearance and longevity
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress and post-installation care instructions
Experience
- Prior experience with landscaping, lawn care, or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and measuring tapes is essential
- Knowledge of power tools used in landscaping or construction enhances efficiency on the job site
- Basic understanding of land grading, drainage principles, and general landscaping practices is advantageous
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols is necessary
