What are the responsibilities and job description for the NOW HIRING – Tree Crew Leader position at VIKING TREE & STUMP?
Viking Tree & Stump is looking for an experienced Crew Leader to lead one of the best equipped tree crews in Michigan.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience leading a tree crew
- Valid driver’s license. CDL is a huge plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience with tree removals, pruning, rigging, and job site safety
- Comfortable using Jobber to manage jobs and notes
- Train, coach, and develop ground crew members
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with homeowners
- Identify and present legitimate upsell opportunities while on site
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic in field maintenance
- Help maintain trucks, chippers, stump grinders, saws, and equipment to keep the fleet in top condition
- Take pride in running an organized, efficient, and profitable crew
