The Laser Technician supports the production of company products by operating equipment, completing assigned manufacturing tasks, and following established work procedures. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficient production.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform production tasks according to standard work instructions.
- Operate and monitor laser equipment and related machinery.
- Inspect completed products for quality and accuracy.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain safe work habits.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and efficient.
- Enter basic production information into computer systems.
- Report equipment issues, defects, or safety concerns to a supervisor.
- Work effectively with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications
- No previous laser or manufacturing experience required; training is provided.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
- Ability to perform routine production tasks in a manufacturing environment.
