Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and reliable security professional to ensure the safety and security of the Shorelights exhibit. We have other opportunities as well. This is an outdoor post.
Responsibilities
- Lock up exhibit accessories at after hours
- Walking the grounds providing a visual deterrent
- Provide customer service to patrons
- Report suspicious or criminal activity to police
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or private security is preferred
- Experience in conflict management and loss prevention strategies is beneficial
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during overnight hours
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
- Previous work in a similar environment is a plus but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $25.00 - $26.97 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
Work Location: In person
