- Performing hand-assembly production jobs
- Being responsible for quality and quantity of parts packed
- Control plan adherence
- Adherence to approved work instructions
- IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 adherence
- Communicate equipment and output problems to supervisor
- Efficiency improvements (more good parts per hour)
- Lean Manufacturing implementation
- Cleanliness and organization improvement
- Knowing and follow all safety rules, report any concerns, keep work area clean
- Knowing how to set and use scales
- Knowing how and where to find materials
- Be able to identify parts by size
- Making boxes
- Knowing and adhering to Viking Plastics lot traceability procedures
- Reporting on-time for shift start, ready to work and have good attendance record
- Participate in inventory control
- Grind runners when needed, process scrap according to procedures
- Stage skids
- Help give breaks, assist others
- Complete paperwork
- Good mechanical ability and aptitude is essential in this position and the individual must be capable of a troubleshooting thought process
- A high school education or equivalent is preferred
