What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping/Receiving Associate position at Viking Performance, Inc.?
Viking Performance, Inc. offers automotive high performance shock absorbers, springs and bearings for the racing, street performance, muscle car and hot rod markets. Viking has an immediate full time opening in our packing/shipping department in Lakeville, MN.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, assemble, pack and ship shocks, coil springs, bearings and related products.
- Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material.
- Determine the best method of shipment and pack parts accordingly.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Qualifications:
- Prior warehouse experience and the ability to operate UPS WorldShip a strong plus.
- Must have knowledge typically obtained with a high school or equivalent diploma; college or technical school a plus.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Must have dependable attendance and be a team player.
- Basic computer data entry skills are a plus.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize.
- Familiarity with automotive parts / applications a strong plus.
- Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly. Position involves standing for long periods of time.
