Assembles metal products, such as pipe nipples that are connected to Valves and devices. Testing of assembled Trim, inspecting and packaging. Working in a cell environment on shop floor by performing the following duties.
Work Schedule: 3 pm - 11 pm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
- Fastens parts together with wrenches and pipe compound assuring proper torque is used.
- Inspects parts for proper Quality and ensure that a produce a proper seal between parts is achieved.
- Tests Trimmed and Pre-Trimmed Valves and Devices according to approval laboratory guide lines.
- Inspects and packages Trimmed Valves according to Viking quality standards.
- Disassembles Pre trimmed valves and package according to work order instructions.
- Identifies scrap and salvage and records such for inventory purposes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
