Fence Installer - Helper

Viking Fence is excited to add a full time Fence Installer- Helper . This role has tremendous upside potential as the company has grown revenue for 12 years and continues to expand its Rental department.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Keep rental products in an ordered, logical manner.
- Ensure loads are properly secured to prevent breakage or damage.
- Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered.
- Adhere to company rules and regulations.
- Always make safety a priority.
- Complete special projects as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- The ideal candidate will have one or more years in a service-related role with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Must be detail-oriented, efficient.
- Experience operating an electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, skid steers, forklift etc.
- Proficient using GPS and other routing systems.
- Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful.
- High level of composure and good stress management.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- A typical day consists of approximately 50% travel and 50% installation and removal of rental product at designated locations.
- 6 day per week shift required, with off hour availability for special events.
- This position is labor intensive, requiring lifting, reaching, and bending while installing rental equipment
- Will be exposed to all types of weather on a regular basis.
- Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weight (up to 75 lbs.) regularly
- Safely walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as necessary.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base hourly pay of $10.00 per hour, with opportunity to earn more with piece rate pay for install and pick up activities.
