Viking Fence is excited to add a full-time, exempt Building Materials Sales Associate, reporting to the Branch Manager at our Kennedale, TX branch. This role has tremendous upside potential as the company has grown revenue for 12 years and continues to expand its Rental department.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
· Selling building materials to our customers from the customer service counter, providing a friendly and professional, welcoming environment while assisting customers with project needs.
· Answer all calls and assist walk in customers.
· Maintaining and growing existing commercial and retail customer base through prospecting, sales account development, quoting and customer follow-up.
· Ensuring all customer sales orders are imputed complete and accurate.
· Managing quotes review and proposal process for commercial fence installations.
· Responsible for driving product and pricing strategy along with Store Manager and Senior management.
· Drive initiatives for the management team that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
· Maintain store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products customers need.
· Validating loading tickets and processing orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and in a timely manner.
· Oversee daily activities of loading and unloading, and production of chain link material.
· Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.
· Advising customers on inventory levels and pricing.
· Cash application and reporting.
· Complete special projects as needed.
