Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Performs preventive maintenance on control systems throughout Southern NH and Eastern Massachusetts.

2. Builds UL panels.

3. Assists with point-to-point commissioning automatic temperature control systems, including digital and non-digital, with documentation.

4. Completes panel and device terminations as directed.

5. Downloads and commissions controls using current software tools as supervised.

6. Generates project field reports, task lists, and requests for information.

7. Assists with completing punch list items.

8. Possesses competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used.

9. Communicates emergency situations and customer concerns to the supervisor immediately.

10. Performs all work to industry standards and always maintains a professional manner and appearance.

11. Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, and governmental agency and company directives as related to building operations and practices safe work habits.

12. Establishes and maintains excellent and effective working relationships with our employees, supervisors, other contractors and building owners.

13. Presents ideas effectively, both orally and in writing.

14. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, and internet software.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Certificates and Licenses:

  • OSHA 10
  • Valid driver’s license


Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:

  • Ability to drive approximately one hour to and from various job sites daily
  • Time management skills
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Professionalism

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see color.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and work in high, precarious places. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather), fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold (non-weather), extreme heat (non-weather), risk of electrical shock, work with explosives, and vibration.


The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.


Hourly Rate:

$35-$45 - Hourly rate to be determined by combination of education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The listed salary range is a market reflection. However, we understand that qualified candidates may bring exceptional skill and experience that would necessitate compensation consideration beyond what's been stated.
