Viking Client Services provides payment processing, recovery, claims management and collection services to clients across the country. We have been in the business for 50 plus years and we continue to GROW! We are looking for part time (20-25 hours per week) hybrid position at our Eden Prairie office for a Human Resource Recruiter.
The Human Resource Recruiter will manage the company’s fast pace recruitment process and act as the primary support and operational backup for the HR manager in all departmental functions. This role ensures efficient administration of HR policies and is responsible for attracting, sourcing, and onboarding top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and onboarding
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for all open positions using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Screen resumes and applications, conduct initial phone screenings, and coordinate interview schedules
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, create detailed job descriptions, and finalize interview questions
- Source candidates using various channels including job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals
- Extend offers of employment: prepare offer letters and oversee the preemployment requirements
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all recruitment activities in the ATS to ensure compliance
HR Administration and Support
- Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation with a focus on confidentiality and compliance
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
- Assist in creating and coordinating internal training sessions, company events, and employee engagement activities
- Crosstrain on essential HR Manager duties to provide seamless coverage during managers absence
- Assist with audits
- Conduct research on HR best practices, labor laws, and industry trends to recommend updates to policies and procedures
Miscellaneous
- Organize internal communications
- Monitor voicemails
- Other projects
Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field
- Experience
- 1 years of relevant human resources or recruiting experience
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Experience with Human Resources Information System (HRIS), preferably ADP Workforce Now
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
