What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Team Member - Production position at Viking Chemical Company?
Hourly pay rate: $16.50 per hour with annual raises.
Warehouse Team Member-Production Duties:
Day shift
- Fill containers, pails, drums, and totes with chemicals (the chemicals are corrosive, non-corrosive, solvents, etc.)
- Occasionally blend/dilute a liquid chemical following a formula/blend sheet and then fill it into containers
- Inspect, clean, and prep all containers as well as weigh the chemical as it is being filled
- Maintain your equipment and clean work area on a daily basis
- Operate a forklift

Requirements:
- Candidates must be able to lift 70 lbs minimum
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods
- Must be willing to work with hazardous chemicals (Viking provides personal protective equipment)
