Our St. Paul, MN office is seeking a Fire Protection Professional who combines strong relationship-building with technical expertise. In this role you will proactively develop client relationships, craft tailored fire protection solutions, and guide projects from proposal through completion alongside a project team. Responsibilities
- Developing relationships owners and General Contractors to increase out design build revenue
- Working with customers to define their needs and developing solutions that meet them.
- Reviewing construction project drawings, project schedules, and specifications
- Complete detailed take-off, estimate, and proposal based on construction documents
- Performing hazard analysis and value engineering tasks for design/build projects.
- Developing and maintaining an active proposal backlog that supports the established sales plan.
- Maintaining historical record of all sales and bidding documents/stats.
- Actively participate in project kick-off meetings to ensure project success
- Other duties as assigned and as the business needs adjust.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in design or fire sprinkler sales required
- NICET in Water Based Layout preferred
- Experience in commercial, residential, and industrial areas of the fire protection industry is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong oral and written communications skills; ability to professionally communicate with all levels of leadership, customers, and employees.
- Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, ability to be resourceful and proactive when completing duties
- High school diploma or equivalent required

- $33.50/hr - $57.00/hr depending on experience and relatable skills
