SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Senior Director of Commercial Operations leads business development, market expansion, and commercial strategy across key product lines. This role is responsible for driving go-to-market execution, optimizing sales and marketing performance, and identifying new growth opportunities, including expansion into non-core markets and emerging applications.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Lead business development and market expansion initiatives, including new applications and industries
• Define and execute go-to-market strategies (pricing, segmentation, channels, positioning)
• Develop and manage channel strategy, including distributors, partners, and direct sales
• Establish and grow e-commerce/direct sales capabilities
• Oversee sales operations, including CRM, pipeline reporting, forecasting, and performance metrics
• Drive marketing strategy and execution across digital channels, campaigns, and industry events
• Manage brand positioning and marketing collateral, ensuring consistency and effectiveness
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to align product strategy with market needs
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders
• Develop budgets and track performance against revenue and growth targets
• Lead and manage internal staff and external vendors/agencies
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
• 12–15 years of experience in commercial, business development, or sales/marketing roles
• 5–8 years of leadership experience
• Proven success in go-to-market strategy, market expansion, and revenue growth
• Experience with sales operations, CRM systems, and performance analytics
• Background managing channel partners and cross-functional teams
• Strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience in technical, industrial, or hardware-based industries preferred
