Reporting to the Sr. Director, Forecasting, the role of Manager, Forecasting supports US ViiV Forecasting to establish and maintain accurate and insight driven demand forecasts driven through Rx modeling in close collaboration with a broad spectrum of functions at the US and global level. This role requires strong analytical skills and a wide variety of methodological approaches to forecasting as well as in-depth understanding of the US pharmaceutical market dynamics.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

• Establish, document, and maintain in-line products financial and manufacturing volume forecasts.

• Evaluate US market trends, competitor product landscape and competitive positioning as part of US Forecast development.

• Develop, document and present US Forecast, assumptions, opportunities, and risks, to multiple management levels.

• Collaborate and partner effectively with various stakeholders across the enterprise, including Marketing, Insights and Analytics and Managed Market teams; support senior management requests.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• BS/BA degree in Analytics OR Statistics OR Business/Economics OR Finance

• 4 years' experience in analyzing market data and trends, assessing financial/commercial impacts and identifying risks and opportunities

• 4 plus years' experience in utilizing and maintaining financial OR analytics OR gross sales forecast models

• Experience building business acumen

• Experience working across a matrix environment

• Experience with MS Excel, working with substantial amounts of data, financial and/or analytical data modeling involving multiple inputs

• MS PowerPoint experience

• Presentation Experience

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

• Graduate degree in Business (MBA), in Science (M.Sc) (incl. Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, or in Finance/ Economics (M. Econ.) or related

• Experience providing clear and concise messaging to multiple management levels

• Experience with patient claims data and patient flow modeling

• Knowledge and experience with at least one GSK U.S. Pharma relevant commercial areas, Primary Care, Specialty (Immunology, Oncology), Vaccines

• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively

• Familiarity with leveraging digital tools to drive process efficiency
