The VIGILINT Pharmacist will support VIGILINT organizational and business objectives by serving as an in-house subject matter expert for pharmaceutical therapeutics. The VIGILINT pharmacist will report to and work closely with the Director of Logistics. The pharmacist will be responsible for the implementation, direction, execution and evaluation of all VIGILINT pharmaceutical activities. The pharmacist will ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy, the drug enforcement administration, and the food and drug administration by maintaining records for controlled substances; removing outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory; supervising the work results of support personnel; maintaining current registration; studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation and advising management on needed actions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- United States citizenship
- Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program
- At least five (5) years’ full time experience of clinical practice as a pharmacist
- Active NC state license from the Board of Pharmacy
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in operating a pharmacy program or pharmacy related business
- Deployment experience as a member of the Armed Forces in support of combat operations, preferably with a Combat Support Hospital or similar element
- Current Secret Security Clearance with background investigation within the last 5 years
- Experience using Pioneer, Epic, Parata
