Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Part-Time)
Vigilant Incorporated, manufacturer of world-class wood products, is seeking to add a new member to our growing team. We are looking for a reliable and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Technician to keep our facility in top shape. You will be the go-to person for ensuring our building is safe, functional, and clean. This is a great role for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks daily and is seeking a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Cleaning floors (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing), washing walls and windows, and disinfecting restrooms.
- Waste Management: Emptying trash receptacles and recycling bins in plant and office and moving trash to disposal areas.
- Maintenance: Performing minor repairs, such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, and performing minor repairs to cleaning equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, climb ladders, and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with cleaning equipment and maintenance tools
- Communication: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

- The "Handyman" Skillset: Strong knowledge of basic hand/power tools and painting skills a plus
- Reliability: Since this is a part-time role, we need someone who is punctual and can manage their time without constant supervision.
