Boiler Plant Operator

Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Boiler Plant Operator to support a critical facilities operations team. This is a long-term onsite contract opportunity in a mission-critical environment where safety, reliability, and continuous operations are essential.

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining high-pressure boiler plant systems to ensure uninterrupted facility operations while working alongside a skilled utilities and facilities team in a setting that follows established safety and operational standards.

Location: Nashville, TN 37212

What You’ll Do

• Operate, monitor, and maintain high-pressure steam boiler systems
• Perform startup, shutdown, and routine operational checks
• Monitor gauges, alarms, and safety devices to ensure system integrity
• Document daily operational logs and maintenance activities
• Respond to emergency call-ins and provide after-hours coverage as required

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating high-pressure boiler systems
• Prior experience with boilers up to 2,500 HP
• Completion of required safety and boiler operator certifications
• Strong knowledge of boiler plant safety procedures and controls
• Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays

Schedule & Coverage

• Full-time, rotating shifts to support 24/7 operations
• Shifts may include evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays
• Additional emergency coverage required outside standard shifts
