Your Role and Impact

The HR Director provides strategic and operational leadership for ViewSonic's Human Resources function, partnering closely with executive leadership to align people strategies with business objectives. This role oversees HR programs across talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, HRIS, organizational development, compliance, workforce planning, employee engagement, and HR operations. The HR Director also provides oversight of Facilities Administration, including office services, non-product purchasing, building management, lease coordination, vendor management, security, and reception services.

This individual serves as a trusted business partner by providing objective guidance, proactive people strategies, and practical solutions that support organizational effectiveness, employee experience, business continuity, and long-term workforce needs.



Day to Day Responsibilities


Human Resources Leadership & Employee Relations

  • Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with business objectives, support organizational effectiveness, and address workforce planning, performance management, talent management, and employee engagement needs.
  • Effectively manage shifting priorities across all HR functional areas while serving as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on employee relations, organizational change, policy interpretation, compliance, performance management, workplace concerns, and workforce actions, including promotions, transfers, layoffs, and terminations.
  • Oversee staffing and workforce administration activities, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, transfers, promotions, separations, and the tracking of temporary, agency, and contractual workers.
  • Stay current on HR trends, employment laws, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, while representing the company in employment-related matters as needed.


Talent Management, Leadership Development & Organizational Effectiveness

  • Lead talent management initiatives that support organizational growth and workforce effectiveness, including performance management, employee development, succession planning, and career progression programs.
  • Partner with executive leadership and managers to assess workforce capabilities, identify skill gaps and high-potential talent, and develop leadership development, succession, and workforce continuity strategies for critical roles and business functions.
  • Advise leaders on organizational design, team effectiveness, role clarity, and change impacts; develop communication and transition strategies to support successful implementation and employee adoption.


Employee Engagement, Culture & Inclusion

  • Develop and support employee engagement, communication, training, and culture-building initiatives that strengthen connection, retention, inclusion, and alignment across teams.
  • Monitor employee feedback, engagement trends, and workplace concerns; recommend practical actions that improve employee experience and promote fair, respectful, and inclusive employment practices throughout the employee lifecycle.


Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations

  • Research, recommend, plan, and administer employee benefits programs, including health and welfare, insurance, and 401(k) plans.
  • Ensure proper administration of compensation programs, including job analysis, salary structure review, wage and salary compliance, and market competitiveness.
  • Oversee HR programs and operational processes related to leaves of absence, accommodations, training coordination, employee services, policy administration, and compliance requirements.



HR Analytics, Technology & Process Improvement

  • Leverage HR analytics and workforce data to identify trends and prepare leadership reports related to turnover, retention, hiring, engagement, compensation, compliance, and workforce planning.
  • Evaluate and improve HR systems, HRIS workflows, reporting tools, process documentation, and vendor partnerships to support data accuracy, operational efficiency, and scalable HR operations.


Facilities Administration & Vendor Management

  • Manage facilities-related operations for leased ViewSonic locations in the Americas, including budgets, building maintenance, office services, reception, non-product purchasing, security, and property management.
  • Coordinate with brokers, property managers, legal partners, maintenance providers, security vendors, and internal stakeholders on leasing, subleasing, workers' compensation, environmental health and safety, and related facility administration matters.
  • Manage relationships with external service providers and business partners, including HRIS vendors, payroll providers, benefits brokers, training vendors, consultants, employment agencies, and other vendors that support HR and facility operations.


Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, PHR, or similar certification preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including senior-level leadership responsibility across multiple HR disciplines.
  • Experience leading core HR functions, including talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, workforce planning, organizational development, and employee engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with executive leadership, drive organizational change, develop leaders, and align people strategies with business objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, employee relations, investigations, and policy administration.
  • Experience utilizing HRIS platforms, workforce analytics, and process improvement methodologies to drive operational effectiveness; facilities administration experience preferred.

Work Environment & Requirements

  • Office Presence: Minimum 3 days in office, additional days as business needs arise
  • Environment: Normal office conditions.
  • Physical Effort: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Hazards: Negligible, little or no exposure to hazards
