Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Representative with a strong engineering background and proven experience selling within the Defense Industry. This role offers a competitive base salary of $120,000, with an on-target commission of $80,000, and a 1.5X commission accelerator for achieving annual sales targets early.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the Defense Industry.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our rugged video displays and computers.
- Negotiate sales contracts and close deals while ensuring alignment with customer needs and company objectives.
- Provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and technical assistance.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to stay informed about product capabilities and advancements.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and represent Viewpoint Systems at defense-related conferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with a focus on the Defense Industry.
- Understanding of video display and computer systems technology, particularly in ruggedized environments.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary: $120,000
- On-Target Commission: $80,000
- Commission Accelerator: 1.5X if annual sales target is achieved before year-end
