Our products go into ground vehicles, naval platforms, and airborne systems, hardware that has to work every time. We're in an active growth phase and are adding dedicated BD coverage in two markets.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Naval and Ground Vehicle markets represent two of the highest-activity segments in defense electronics procurement right now — next-generation combat vehicles, surface combatant modernization, expeditionary computing — and Viewpoint does not yet have an established presence in either one. That is the opportunity. We have the products, the engineering capability, and the manufacturing infrastructure to compete for and win programs in both domains. We need someone who knows how to get in the room, develop the relationship, and close.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new display and computing opportunities across Naval and Ground Vehicle programs
• Develop and maintain relationships with program managers, contracting officers, and prime contractor capture teams
• Conduct proactive pre-RFP engagements — capability briefings, white papers, teaming inquiries, and RFI responses — to shape requirements before solicitations drop
• Support proposal development in coordination with our engineering and program management teams
• Represent Viewpoint at AUSA, WEST, Sea-Air-Space, and relevant program events
• Maintain accurate pipeline data in CRM and report weekly on activity and status

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
• 5 years of BD, capture, or sales experience in defense electronics or defense technology
• Demonstrated record of closing contracts with DoD customers
• Familiarity with the defense acquisition lifecycle — Milestones, RFI/RFP process, source selection, contract types
• Strong existing relationships in Naval or Ground Vehicle program offices, prime contractors, or systems integrators
• U.S. citizen, eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites, the DC corridor, and industry events
Preferred:
• Prior BD or capture experience at a prime contractor (Northrop Grumman, L3Harris, BAE Systems, Leonardo DRS, or similar)
• Experience selling ruggedized electronics, displays, or computing hardware into military platforms
• Experience operating as a Tier 2/3 supplier pursuing both direct government and prime subcontract opportunities
• Active DoD Secret clearance or above

COMPENSATION
On-Target Earnings: $200,000
• Base Salary: $120,000 (60% of OTE)
• Quarterly Activity Bonus: up to $30,000 (15% of OTE)
• Booking Commission: up to $50,000 (25% of OTE).
Commission is uncapped and includes an accelerator. Strong performers earn above OTE.
