Job Title: Interior Designer
Required Skills / Experience:
- 2 years experience in the field with design experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school
- Proficient in SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Workspace
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, contractors, and consultants
- Excellent communication skills
- Collaborative and receptive to feedback
- Attentive to details, proactive, highly-organized with the ability to multi-task
- Motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Creative Director to develop creative direction for each project
- Work on projects from all phases of design, including but not limited to: initial design concepts, rendering, sourcing, procurement, and installation
- Produce 3D models in SketchUp of interior spaces and create animations of the models for presentation purposes
- Work closely from inspiration boards and 3D model to source relevant FF&E to appoint designed spaces within budget
- Source and work with outside vendors to procure and coordinate all furniture, fixtures, & accessories
- Serve as point of contact with clients, vendors, contractors, and consultants
- Produce materials schedule for each signed-off design
- Manage multiple projects at once
- Keep clear and accessible records of correspondence as well as detailed time records of hours spent on each project
- Provide design support and administration during completion and execution of design concepts
