Church: View Church | Position: Full-Time

Position Summary

View Church is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and visionary full-time Student Pastor to lead, grow, and oversee our ministry for middle and high school students. The Youth Pastor will be responsible for creating an environment where students can encounter God, build authentic community, and be discipled into a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. This individual will equip adult volunteers, partner closely with parents, and integrate student ministry into the broader life of View Church.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Plan and execute all aspects of View Church's youth ministry programs, including, but not limited to, weekly youth groups, Bible studies, and special events.
• Discipleship & Pastoral Care: Actively mentor and disciple middle and high school students; provide biblical guidance and pastoral care to students navigating personal and spiritual challenges.
• Volunteer Oversight: Recruit, background-check, train, and spiritually invest in a team of dedicated and qualified adult volunteers and student leaders to ensure a biblical, safe and effective ministry environment for our students.
• Parent & Family Partnership: Act as a primary resource for parents, ensuring regular, transparent communication regarding curriculum, upcoming events, and resource availability to reinforce faith in the home.
• Community Engagement: Investing in the lives of our students and showing you care by attending student extracurricular events (sports/music) and being present in the school system. And training volunteers to do the same.
• Event & Trip Management: Organize and lead high-impact seasonal experiences, including summer camps, winter retreats, service projects, and mission trips.
• Administrative Oversight: Manage the annual youth ministry budget efficiently, maintain student attendance records, and oversee social media and digital platforms used for youth engagement.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Spiritual Character: A mature, growing faith in Jesus Christ and full alignment with the theological beliefs, mission, and values of View Church.
• Experience: Proven experience leading or heavily serving within an active youth ministry or pastoral setting.
• Relational Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the unique ability to engage with youth culture authentically while maintaining healthy, professional adult-student boundaries.
• Organizational Skills: Strong leadership, team building, task execution, budget management, and project coordination capabilities.
• Safety Clearance: Must successfully pass a mandatory criminal background check and complete all required child protection training certifications prior to employment.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
