A Vienna Beef Foodservice Sales Representative Chicago plans and administers activities impacting sales and related responsibilities contributing to the maintenance and growth of sales in the assigned Chicagoland/Suburban geographic territory. This individual perpetuates new products with existing accounts and initiates sales opportunities to potential new accounts.
Additional responsibilities include customizing sales and marketing aids to create better branded visibility in all account territories (including those serviced by the distributor network and other distribution channels) and assisting Sales management as needed.
Communicates on the Company's behalf with the Vienna Distributor Network accounts that constitute the primary territory. The Foodservice Sales Representative Chicago reports to the Director of Foodservice Chicago Sales.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Direct account (end user) management.
- Responsible for prospecting, qualifying and acquiring new customers.
- Penetrate new sales with existing accounts.
- Manage Key Foodservice Distributors
- Manage communications, distributor sales reps, marketing activities, price changes, distributor and customer programs, review order processing, quarterly and annual reviews, sample requests, QA submissions, and any other expected responsibilities.
- Generate and or respond to customer requests to promote, advertise and manage the sales of products.
- Implement and execute Vienna Beef sales strategies and goals to maximize the business growth and profitability.
- Effectively manage customer programs including tracking, payment submission, renewal, reviews, and progress.
- Monitor customer sales performance and trends.
- Conduct key customer and distributor reviews.
- Support and execute food shows, sales and training meetings, demos, etc.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four- year college or university; and/ or
- 5 years of Foodservice Sales
- Experience with foodservice channel customers and distribution management
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business documents and procedures. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
