- Experience: Minimum 1 year in acute care, burn unit experience preferred
Pay & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $56.95
- Benefits include: Weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), robust referral bonus program, licensure and certification reimbursements, travel and other reimbursements when applicable, paid sick time in accordance with state/federal laws, 24/7 support team dedicated to your success.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide specialized physical therapy to burn patients with TBSA ranging from 0-100%
- Manage daily caseload up to 8 patients, focusing on mobility, positioning, and scar prevention
- Assist with wound dressings, pain management, and surgical recovery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Support patient education and functional mobility improvements
- Flexibly float within inpatient settings as needed
- Conduct outpatient evaluations and therapy sessions when possible
What You Need:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Louisiana
- 1 years of experience in acute care, burn units preferred
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Ability to work weekends and flex shifts as required
- Strong mobility, positioning, and patient education skills
