Required Skills:
- Valid LA or Compact RN license
- AHA BLS certification (required)
- AHA ACLS and PALS certifications (preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year recent Med Surg RN experience
- Ability to work 6p-6a on a rotating schedule
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Prior experience in a hospital setting with diverse patient populations
- Additional certifications in specialized nursing areas
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
- At least 1 year of recent Med Surg RN experience in a hospital environment
Other Requirements:
- Ability to start as soon as possible
- Willingness to commit to an initial 13-week contract
- Must hold a current and active RN license in Louisiana or a Compact state
- Local and Travel Rates Available
