An Azure Architect designs, builds, and manages scalable, secure cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, translating business needs into technical strategies for infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), data, and applications, ensuring alignment with governance and cost optimization while leading teams in migration and implementation, often involving DevOps, security, and data platforms.
Skills and Relevant Experience Required (in Yrs.)
A minimum of 12 years of IT industry experience with solid architectural experience
A minimum of 7 years of Exp in Azure Architecture preferable on Cloud.
Extensive IT experience with specific years in Azure architecture/design.
Deep understanding of Azure services: Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Identity, Data Platforms, Governance.
Experience with large-scale Azure implementations, data migrations, and cloud-native projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Excellent communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
Very good understanding of SDLC and agile model of work.
Must possess organizational proficiencies to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under limited supervision.
Must be highly motivated, self-starting, and committed to achieving results and have a strong sense of ownership and follow-through to resolution.
Very good business written and verbal communication skill.
Familiar with Azure cloud platform from infrastructure and security perspective.

Responsibilities
Engage with customer escalations and mitigate risks on the product roadmap, ahead of time.
Develop end-to-end Azure cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), focusing on reliability, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
Advise clients on cloud adoption, recommend strategies, map solutions to business goals, and build business cases.
Guide development teams, lead migrations, conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs), and oversee deployment.
Hands-on experience with Azure services (VMs, Storage, Networking, App Services, APIs, Kubernetes), DevOps, and potentially data tools (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks).
Implement security, compliance, and governance best practices within the cloud environment.
Work with stakeholders, developers, and IT pros to ensure smooth transitions and alignment.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and provide IT transformation recommendations.
