Key Responsibilities – Business Process Analysis, Requirements Gathering, and Solution Delivery
- Partner with clients and cross-functional teams to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements for digital and cloud-based solutions.
- Map and improve business processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with project goals.
- Translate business and user needs into clear technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and reviews to gather and confirm requirements from multiple stakeholders.
- Support the development and implementation of innovative technology solutions, including cloud-native applications and data platforms.
- Collaborate with quality assurance, technical leads, and project managers during the software development lifecycle.
- Assist in change management activities, including communication, training, and documentation, to support successful project outcomes.
- Champion inclusive and user-focused design practices across all deliverables.
- Recognised degree or relevant real-world experience in Business Analysis, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a business analysis or requirements gathering role within a digital or technology-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to interpret complex business challenges and identify solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience creating process maps, user journey diagrams, and requirements documentation.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their impact on business processes (advantageous).
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in both processes and team culture.
- Experience working in agile environments, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery.
- Understanding of digital transformation trends, cloud migration, and data-driven decision making.
- Familiarity with user acceptance testing, change management, or user training for technology projects.
- Exposure to software development lifecycle tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Trello).
- Interest in AI, machine learning, or automation as it relates to business process improvement.
- Relevant certifications in business analysis (e.g. CBAP, PMI-PBA, AgileBA) are advantageous.
