**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pipeline CCTV Inspection Operator to join our VIS Crossbore team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating specialized CCTV equipment to inspect and locate underground pipelines, identify issues, and ensure compliance with PG&E standards. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in various field conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CCTV inspection equipment to assess the condition of pipelines.
- Use locating equipment to identify and locate underground pipelines.
- Standard computer skills are a must.
- Conduct thorough inspections of pipelines to detect blockages, leaks, corrosion, and other defects.
- Record and analyze video footage, providing accurate documentation of findings.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to discuss inspection results and action plans.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in good working order.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in the field.
- Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in CCTV technology.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in pipeline inspection or would be preferred but not necessary.
- Strong understanding of pipeline systems and potential issues.
- Must have experience with locating equipment and it’s use.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and the ability to travel to job sites is required.
**Working Conditions:**
- Fieldwork in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment as necessary.
- Potentially working in confined spaces or challenging environments.
- Working out of town is frequent (Monday through Friday).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour (depending on experience), plus additional incentives if out of town.
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
