Overview
We are looking for one more person to join our staff! This is a perfect part-time, summer job for someone looking to get their first job or to make a little extra spending cash but still have most of the week for summer fun! No experience necessary, just dependability and work ethic, and we will get you trained in quickly! Easy hours, generally start around 9am and are done between 1:00 and 2:00pm. GREAT Potential for Pay Increase according to job performance!
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS!
General Duties Include
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients for service.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, dining areas, and storage spaces through regular cleaning and sanitation.
- Help with bussing tables during service hours to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold safety standards and prevent cross-contamination.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key.
- Ability to learn knowledge of basic food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or cleaning supplies.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues during high-pressure moments.
- Experience with bussing, food preparation, or catering is a plus; familiarity with banquet or hotel environments is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met.
- Reliable work ethic with a commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
