Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Encourage and support residents emotionally, socially, and physically
- Promote resident participation in community and engagement activities
- Help create a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for residents
- Maintain clean and organized resident living spaces
- Build respectful and caring relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Med Tech certification preferred (Support is available for qualified candidates seeking certification.)
- CPR certification preferred (Support is available for qualified candidates seeking certification.)
- Experience in assisted living, personal care homes, home health care, or nursing home settings is a plus
- Ability to safely assist and transfer residents with care and dignity
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, patient, reliable, and service-oriented mindset
