The Mission at VIDA RTC
VIDA RTC provides high-acuity residential care for youth with complex emotional and behavioral needs. We are seeking a clinical "Anchor"—a Treatment Director who is as passionate about direct therapeutic breakthroughs as they are about regulatory excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Clinical Care: Conduct weekly individual and group therapy sessions on-site. You will be the primary therapist for our residents, building the rapport necessary for true behavioral change.
- Assessment & Placement: Lead the 72-hour Intake Assessment process for all new residents. Conduct and interpret CANS (Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths) assessments every 90 days.
- Regulatory Signature Authority: Review and sign all Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs), 30-day placement reviews, and 90-day service plan reviews to ensure 100% compliance with TAC Chapter 748.
- Clinical Leadership: Supervise the Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP); provide trauma-informed guidance to direct-care staff; and lead weekly clinical staffing meetings.
- Funding Justification: Collaborate with the Clinical Pharmacological Consultant to author clinical summaries for Youth For Tomorrow (YFT) to secure and maintain funding.
Mandatory Qualifications (Per TAC § 748.605)
- Licensure: Current Texas license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LMSW (Required).
- Certification: Current Texas CANS Certification (Required).
- Experience: Minimum of three years of experience providing treatment services to children with emotional disorders, including at least one year in a residential (GRO/RTC) setting.
- On-Site Requirement: Must be physically present in the Rosenberg facility for therapy sessions and staff supervision (virtual and on-site).
Technical & Clinical Skills
- Expertise in Trauma-Informed Care and crisis de-escalation.
- Proficiency in digital documentation.
- Strong clinical writing skills.
