Role Description
We have several part-time in-home Behavioral Therapist role based in Palmdale, San Fernando Valley, and Los Angeles. The Behavioral Therapist will work closely with children diagnosed with autism, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies. Responsibilities include assessing behaviors, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress, and collaborating with families or caregivers to support the child’s development. The ideal candidate will work to create a nurturing and positive environment tailored to the needs of each client.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Behavior Analysis
- Experience working with children and a passion for supporting their development
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and team members
- Background or education in Psychology or a related field
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with autism
- Ability to implement therapy programs consistently and adapt to individual needs
- Prior experience in a similar role or within a healthcare setting is a plus
- Ability to pass a background check, LIVESCAN, and TB test
