Vida Center is a growing occupational medicine clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to injured workers throughout Washington State.
We are seeking a friendly, organized, dependable, and compassionate Medical Receptionist who enjoys helping people and thrives in a busy medical office.
Our patients often face challenges navigating the workers' compensation system. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of patience, clear communication, cultural sensitivity, and treating every patient with dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and provide excellent customer service.
- Answer incoming calls, manage messages, and schedule appointments.
- Assist Spanish-speaking patients with scheduling and general office communication.
- Verify patient information, insurance, and workers' compensation claim details.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinic staff.
- Assist with referrals, medical records, and administrative tasks.
- Help ensure patients receive timely follow-up and assistance.
Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- Previous medical receptionist or healthcare office experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Washington State L&I workers' compensation is a plus, but not required.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
