Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Assist customers with product selections, answer questions, and offer personalized recommendations
• Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits of merchandise
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
• Upsell additional items by suggesting complementary products to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the sales floor is clean, inviting, and well-stocked
• Manage inventory by stocking shelves, processing shipments, and conducting regular stock checks
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic retail math calculation
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures in retail or grocery store environments
• Supervising experience preferred; capable of guiding team members during shifts when necessary
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently in person and over the phone
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, discounts, and inventory counts
• Skilled in merchandising techniques to create attractive displays that enhance product visibility
• Experience in product demos, upselling, and customer service excellence is highly valued
• Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving our diverse clientele effectively
• Familiarity with stocking procedures, inventory management, and basic cashiering functions
