Job Overview:
Vicus Capital is seeking a Advisor Transition Coordinator to join our State College team. The ideal candidate enjoys the technical and logistical challenges of advisor licensing, registration, and software due diligence. You will act as a guardian of our standards, ensuring that our tech stack safeguards client data and that every new advisor’s transition is flawlessly executed. We require exceptional attention to detail, a tech-proactive mindset, and the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced setting.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute the registration and licensing of internal and external financial advisors, ensuring all paperwork and staff transfers are handled timely and professionally.
- Apply regulatory guidelines to the rigorous review of client accounts and the assessment of new technology software.
- Use resourcefulness and efficiency to manage multiple tasks and track issues through to completion.
- Collaborate with senior management to facilitate a "seamless" transition and onboarding experience for new staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Preferred 1–3 years of financial services experience.
- Must be prepared to obtain the Series 65 Registration within 60 days of employment.
- Proven ability to manage complex checklists and meet strict deadlines without sacrificing detail.
- High comfort level with technology, including CRM systems and the full MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience conducting deep-dive reviews of third-party vendors (CRM, Portfolio Management tools) to help ensure compliance with SEC Cybersecurity standards.
- Ability to analyze account applications to ensure proposed strategies align with client risk tolerance and stated goals.
