Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Seaford, DE. The Salesperson will welcome guests, actively listen to their needs, and recommend appropriate Verizon wireless products, services, and accessories. Responsibilities include explaining device features and plan options, performing needs-based consultations, and assisting with activations, upgrades, and account changes. The role also involves meeting or exceeding individual and store sales goals, accurately processing transactions, and maintaining up-to-date product and promotion knowledge. The Salesperson will help keep the store clean and organized, support visual merchandising standards, and collaborate with team members and leaders to ensure a consistent, positive guest experience.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service, relationship-building, and active listening skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with diverse guests.
- Sales and retail experience, including comfort working with goals, performance metrics, and fast-paced, guest-facing environments.
- Ability to learn and explain mobile devices, wireless plans, and technology solutions, including basic troubleshooting and device setup.
- Solid organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in transactions and documentation.
- Comfort using point-of-sale systems, digital tools, and basic computer applications in daily work.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate, share best practices, and support a positive store culture.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous wireless or electronics retail experience is a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to stand for extended periods and handle light to moderate physical tasks.
