About the Role:
The Custodian/Maintenance position at Victory Autism Academy GCU (VAAGC) is essential for ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment that supports the educational and developmental needs of our students. This role involves performing routine cleaning duties, maintaining building systems, and addressing repair needs promptly to uphold facility standards. The successful candidate will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere by managing custodial tasks efficiently while also supporting maintenance operations to prevent disruptions. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in custodial or maintenance work, preferably in an educational or institutional setting.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment operation.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in facility maintenance or custodial services.
