Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Assistant for a part-time on-site position in Lawrenceville, GA. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and mobility support, monitor vital signs, and ensure medication routines are followed. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation, light housekeeping, social engagement, errand support, and delivering empathetic companionship. You will play a key role in promoting the well-being and independence of those under your care.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and the ability to understand and follow care plans
- Expertise in Patient Care and Direct Patient Care, including assisting with daily living activities
- Proficiency in measuring and monitoring Vital Signs to ensure patient health and safety
- Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the personal needs of clients
- High school diploma or equivalent; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a plus
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work a flexible schedule
- Prior experience in caregiving or home health services is highly preferred
