Lab Team: Roles & Expectations

As a member of the Lab Team at Victory Men’s Health, you play a vital role in delivering a first- class patient experience and driving health outcomes. From blood draws and IV administration to supporting advanced diagnostic testing, your work is the foundation for personalized, high-performance care.

In this role, you’ll:

Deliver Expert Venipuncture & Lab Execution

• Master the art and science of blood draws, ensuring minimal discomfort and a smooth patient experience.
• Accurately label, process, and manage all clinical specimens to guarantee seamless lab submissions.
• Assist with IV administration under medical provider/medical director direction, maintaining safety and patient comfort.
• Gain working knowledge of specialty lab protocols including SpectraCell, Cyrex, Galleri Grail, Genova, OPK 4Kscore, and more.
• Stay current on clinical protocols and continually sharpen your skills reflecting a growth mindset and personal pride in excellence.

Provide Outstanding Patient Care

• Bring confidence and compassion to every interaction from calming anxious patients to educating them on our services.
• Perform intramuscular and subcutaneous injections with precision and care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with both patients and providers to ensure a smooth, effective visit.
• Remain receptive to patient concerns and provider instructions at all times.
• Use discretion and compassion when performing wave therapy or assisting with procedures like pellets, TriMix, or Priapus injections.

Operate with Speed & Precision

• Respond quickly to rooming requests from the front office to keep the schedule on track. Support consistent clinic flow by working efficiently and managing time wisely.
• Monitor supply stock, complete restock forms, and maintain a clean, organized, fully equipped clinical environment.
• Approach each task with a tenaciously competitive attitude no detail overlooked, no patient left waiting.

Support the Team Across Functions

• Thrive in a cross-trained, collaborative environment where lab staff, providers, patient coordinators, and front desk work as one team.
• Step into the front office role when needed answer phones promptly, cover the desk, and help maintain a seamless patient journey.
• Chart accurately and completely in DrChrono, close out appointments, and coordinate labs with attention to detail.

Drive Operational Excellence

• Commit to continuous learning by staying engaged with resources like the Women Want Strong Men podcast and consistently scoring high on Trainual quizzes.
• Lead daily lab prep, vendor coordination, lab relationships, and purposeful morning huddles.
• Prioritize tasks effectively and complete supply orders, projects, and HubSpot activity in a timely, detail-oriented manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
