X-Ray Tech - Part-Time

Part-Time X-Ray Technician

Victory Medical is seeking an organized, highly motivated individual to join our team as an X-ray Technician to work at both our Austin and Westlake locations on a part time basis. You must have experience working as an x-ray technician, have an up-to-date state certification and have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment. You will perform other duties as determined by our Providers and clinic management. This candidate must have weekend availability. Part time employees will be eligible for discounts on medical and aesthetic services as well as medications and supplements from our in-house pharmacy. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs radiology duties within the scope of practice and follows the state of Texas radiation rules and regulations/guidelines.
• Keep rooms/supplies stocked.
• Launder patient gowns.
• Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, as well as safety, environmental and infection control standards.
• Observe and communicate changes in the patient’s condition to the provider on duty.
• Assists provider with exams, procedures and other processes related to patient care under direct supervision.
• Participates in the completion of the daily checklist, as well as any assigned duties and tasks necessary to maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Participates in education programs and attends meetings as required.
• Follows and complies with standing orders.
• Treats patients and co-workers in accordance with respect and friendliness.
• Performs other duties as assigned by clinic management.
