Victory Machine & Fab is seeking an experienced Boring Mill Machinist to join our growing machine shop. We specialize in emergency repairs, large precision components, custom fabrication machining, prototypes, and short-run production.

Our fully air-conditioned machine shop features a variety of CNC equipment and provides an environment where skilled machinists are trusted to take ownership of their work from setup through final inspection.
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate CNC and/or manual boring mills
- Interpret engineering drawings and determine machining methods
- Machine large weldments, castings, and fabricated components
- Select tooling, fixtures, and workholding
- Perform precision boring, facing, drilling, milling, and tapping operations
- Hold close tolerances while maintaining excellent surface finishes
- Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment
- Support emergency repair work and quick-turn customer projects
- Work closely with programmers, machinists, and shop leadership to improve machining processes
Equipment Experience
Experience operating any of the following is beneficial:
- Horizontal Boring Mills
- Vertical Boring Mills
- Large CNC Milling Machines
Experience with Haas, Okuma, Mazak, Toshiba, or similar equipment is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of boring mill machining experience preferred
- Experience setting up and operating CNC boring mills
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of machining large fabricated and welded components
- Knowledge of tooling, workholding, feeds, and speeds
- Experience with precision measuring equipment including micrometers, indicators, bore gauges, and calipers
- Strong math and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Pay: $35,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
