This is a full-time, on-site role for a GSRP (Great Start Readiness Program) Teacher at Victory Learning Center Southfield in Southfield, MI. The GSRP Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans, engaging with children through age-appropriate educational activities, and fostering an encouraging learning environment. Responsibilities also include preparing classroom materials, evaluating student progress, and maintaining open communication with parents and guardians. Teachers are expected to support and train teacher assistants, participate in professional development, and ensure compliance with program guidelines and standards.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and structured curriculum development
- Strong background in Education and Teaching principles tailored to early childhood learning
- Excellent Communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience in providing Training or mentoring to support staff or team members
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) guidelines is an advantage
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
