About Victory Field Operations
Victory Field Operations (VFO) is a data-driven field operations firm that candidates and causes trust for ballot access, field programs, GOTV, and recounts—delivering integrity, confidence, and measurable results from strategy to Election Day.
We set high standards in an industry where that’s rare—and that starts with the people we bring onto our team.
Why Work for VFO
If you’ve circulated before, you know not every company is the same.
At VFO:
- We are one of the few firms that consistently pays our people on time.
- We provide clear expectations, training, and support so you know exactly what success looks like.
- We care about helping you grow your personal, professional, and financial goals—not just using you for a project.
We are not like the outfits that disappear on payday.
About the Role
As a Paid Petition Circulator, you play a critical role in the political process by helping candidates and causes qualify for the ballot and advance their campaigns. You’ll engage with voters across Michigan—at doors and in public locations—to collect valid signatures that meet strict legal and quality standards.
Whether you’re a seasoned circulator or brand new to this work, if you’re willing to learn, work hard, and maintain high integrity, we want to talk with you.
What You’ll Do
- Approach voters in public spaces and/or conduct door-to-door outreach to collect signatures.
- Clearly and accurately explain the petition and why it matters to the community, state, or election.
- Accurately complete petition sheets and follow all legal, procedural, and quality-control requirements.
- Maintain professional, respectful interactions with voters and teammates.
- Meet production and validity goals while upholding VFO’s standards for integrity and accuracy.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for high-quality circulators who want to do it differently.
Do NOT apply if:
- You like to take shortcuts.
- You have low signature validity rates and don’t care to improve.
- You have committed petition fraud in the past or think “everyone fudges a little.”
DO apply if:
- You take pride in doing things the right way, even when no one is watching.
- You can follow instructions and care about details.
- You’re willing to work hard outside—on your feet—for several hours a day.
- You’re comfortable talking to strangers and can stay polite, even when they disagree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage a wide range of people.
- Outgoing, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to read and write clearly and follow written instructions.
- Physical stamina to work in public spaces and/or door-to-door for up to 8 hours a day.
- Flexible availability; some opportunities may start or shift on short notice.
- Reliable transportation and phone.
- Campaign or petition experience is a plus, but not required if you’re willing to learn and work.
Compensation & Structure
- Compensation: Typically $3,000–$10,000 per month possible, depending on project, location, and performance.
- Pay Type: 1099 independent contractor.
- Pay Frequency: Payments made at least twice a week, assuming accurate, valid, and timely submissions.
- Incentives: Selected projects may include bonuses or performance incentives based on quality and production.
What We Provide
- Clear, written expectations and production targets.
- Comprehensive legal and compliance briefings.
- Training on proper petition completion and signature quality.
- Support and accountability from experienced field leadership.
Our Standards
VFO leads with Integrity, Discipline, Accountability, Innovation, Results, and Transparency. That means:
- We do not tolerate fraud, cutting corners, or “creative” petitioning.
- We track signature validity and hold our circulators—and ourselves—to high standards.
- We are honest with our clients and our team about where things truly stand.
If you want to be part of a team that is raising the bar for this industry, VFO is the place to do it.
