Sr. Designer - Inventor

Overview

Prepare complex manufacturing modeling and drawing solutions of various types of boilers and ancillary equipment utilizing Autodesk Inventor.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Modify existing parts, assemblies, details and bills of materials.
• Create new standards and proposal drawings as directed.
• Verify accuracy of models, details and bills of materials of work for self and others.
• Identify and solve complex design problems.
• Structure models, details and BOM in a clear standard.
• Other assignments as needed to support department efficiency and productivity.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience creating shop fabrication detail drawings for an engineered product (preferably in a variation of boilers, burners, structural and piping).
• Minimum 3 years of piping experience utilizing Inventor is preferred. Tube and Pipe Inventor Add-On a plus but not required.
• Must be able to visualize mechanical systems and be able to produce manufacturing drawings and details.
• Self-motivated and willing to learn new designs and software.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, Cloud, To Do).
