Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end loan approval process, including credit analysis, TILA (Truth in Lending Act) compliance, and title processing to ensure accurate and timely financing for customers
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service, upselling additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
- Negotiate loan terms with customers, lenders, and third-party financial institutions to secure favorable deals while adhering to all legal and ethical standards
- Oversee loan officer activities, providing guidance on deal structuring, contract review, and credit evaluation to optimize approval rates
- Utilize financial software and perform basic math calculations accurately for deal structuring, payment calculations, and credit assessments
- Conduct thorough credit analysis to determine customer eligibility based on financial history and dealership policies
- Stay updated on industry regulations such as TILA requirements and ensure all contracts are compliant with federal and state laws
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive sales, dealership finance management, or related financial services roles with a focus on loan processing and credit analysis
- Strong customer relationship management skills with the ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Knowledge of loan officer procedures, contract negotiations, title processing, and TILA regulations
- Proficiency in financial software applications and basic math skills including 10 key typing for data entry accuracy
- Experience with credit analysis, deal structuring, and title processing within an automotive or dealership setting
- Excellent negotiation skills paired with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and transparently
- Familiarity with automotive sales processes combined with a solid understanding of contracts and legal compliance requirements
