We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Care Director to oversee the operations of our child care center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, developing educational programs, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
*Duties*
- Develop and implement educational programs that align with state regulations and promote child development
- Recruit, train, and supervise child care staff
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and facility maintenance
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and maintain accurate records
*Experience*
- Bachelor's degree in Education Administration or related field preferred
- Previous experience in child care management or higher education teaching preferred
- Proven track record of working with students to educate and support their growth
- Familiarity with Ohio Step Up to Quality rating system
