Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that stimulate infants’ cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Provide attentive infant care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring safety at all times.
- Observe and document each child's developmental progress, sharing insights with parents and team members to support individual growth.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health and safety standards.
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to promote social skills and emotional well-being among infants.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities that enhance early childhood development and support inclusive education for children with disabilities or special needs.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety protocols, and first aid procedures to guarantee a secure environment for every child.
Experience
- Prior experience working with infants in a daycare, preschool, or nannying setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers.
- Hands-on experience with classroom management techniques tailored for early learners.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are advantageous.
- Proven ability to nurture children through caregiving activities such as feeding, diapering, and comforting.
- Experience managing behavior through positive reinforcement strategies in a classroom or caregiving environment.
