Job Summary
Victorious P&D, Inc., an independent contractor for FedEx Ground, is actively seeking dependable and accountable Delivery Drivers to join our team.
As a FedEx Delivery Driver, you will report to the FedEx Terminal in Temple, Texas or Waco, Texas. Your day will begin with loading your delivery vehicle, followed by delivering and picking up packages throughout your assigned route, and returning the company provided truck to the terminal at the end of the day. Assigned routes are located in Copperas Cove, Kempner and Lampassas out of the Temple Terminal or local deliveries around Waco out of that Terminal.
This role is essential to our daily operations and requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Load delivery items safely and efficiently.
- Operate a box truck or van, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Deliver and pick up packages on a scheduled route
- Scan packages accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Communicate effectively with managers regarding any issues or delays encountered on the route.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to operate box trucks or vans.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused attitude
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs and handling packages up to 150 lbs with a dolly
- Adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and delivery protocols
- Professional appearance and demeanor, with the ability to represent the company positively at all times
