Job Overview:
A Floral Designer at Victoria’s Garden is responsible for creating beautiful, high‑quality floral arrangements that reflect our signature style and exceed client expectations. This role blends artistry, technical skill, and exceptional customer service to support daily retail shop operations, customer interactions and meetings, events, and custom orders.
Responsibilities and Duties:

- Provide excellent customer service to our guests in person, on the phone & via emails.
- Process fresh flowers/
- Design fresh arrangements for custom orders, as well as designs for display/sale in shop.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient design workspace.
- Assist walk‑in customers with floral selection and custom orders.
- Provide expert recommendations on flower types, color combinations, and arrangement styles
- Create quotes and plans for special events.
- Work collaboratively and cross–funtionally with all shop staff to ensure our guests needs are met.
Qualifications:
*A minimum of 1 year of past floral experience in a professional or freelance floral studio/shop is required.

- Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift & carry up to 50 pounds.

- Past floral experience in a professional floral studio/flower shop is preferred.
Schedule:
- Full Time | 30-40 hours/week
- Rotating Saturdays
- Occasional evenings for special events and/or holidays.
- There is an expectation that all employees are required to work in the weeks leading up to the holidays. Expect longer hours and extremely limited vacation time during busier holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Prom, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
